Travis Coyne pilots his Trophy Truck down a bank and into a palm tree near Erendira during the 2007 SCORE Baja 250.
Eventually it was decided that the truck would be easier to get off the palm backwards. In this photo, the black SUV in back is hooked up to the Pro Comp truck with a tow strap and the helpfull locals are pushing.
As the spectators help push, Car 114 comes down the course and makes the same mistake and overshoots the corner.
114 slides into the crowd and right between the Pro Comp Truck and the truck that was pulling it out. 114 kits the tow strap between the two of them, but misses the black SUV by inches.
The spectators scramble to get out of the way, and luckily, nobody is hit.
With a little gas, 114 is able to get free from the tow strap.
114 on the gas, and only lost a few seconds on the deal.
Well rewarded for their efforts, these two spectators take home a nice souvenir from the Pro Comp Truck.
Like most everyone in the area, this photographer figured this would be a good spot to catch some more action. This is the 3rd car to over shoot and slide off the bank.
